Alarms that name the cause
When a sector goes down you get one alarm for the sector, with the radios and customers behind it, instead of two dozen separate beeps. The same alarm reaches your Telegram group.
For wireless ISPs · airMAX · Mimosa · MikroTik
netmap finds every tower, sector, station and PPPoE customer on its own and draws them as one live map. When a radio drops, it tells you which one, what went down with it, and how many customers are affected.
02How it works
No drawing by hand and no spreadsheets of MAC addresses. netmap reads the network the way your engineers would, every 15 minutes, without getting tired.
01 / 04
Add your gateway radios and your MikroTik PPPoE router. netmap signs in over SSH and the RouterOS API, and only reads.
ssh [email protected] ok
api 10.30.30.1:8729 ok
02 / 04
It walks outward from every gateway, reads each radio's identity and RF stats, and works out which access point each station hears.
discover → 28 neighbours
mca-status → 150 radios
03 / 04
Live PPPoE sessions are matched against the radios' bridge tables, so each customer appears under the radio that actually serves them.
/ppp/active → 296 sessions
279 placed · 17 via relay

Every radio is pinged on a rolling sweep. One lost packet is not an outage. Two misses in a row are, and you hear about it at once.
sweep 30 s · down after 2
rescan every 15 min

05What you get
Each of these is a screen in netmap today, shown here with demo data.
When a sector goes down you get one alarm for the sector, with the radios and customers behind it, instead of two dozen separate beeps. The same alarm reaches your Telegram group.
Import customer names from any billing system, CSV or Excel, and pick which column is which. احمد, أحمد and ahmad1 all find the same person.
Flags sectors on the same mast or in the same area whose channels overlap, down to the MHz.
Stations, site survey, ping, traceroute and logs for any radio, without opening its web page.
| Station | Signal dBm | CCQ |
|---|---|---|
| Bakery-RX | −58 | 97% |
| School-LB | −63 | 94% |
| Clinic-NS | −67 | 90% |
| Farm-PBE | −74 | 81% |
Set the EIRP limit, MCS or ACK timeout on a group of radios in one step, after a preview of every change.
Signal, CCQ and airtime over days, so a link that is slowly getting worse shows up before the customer calls.
Mimosa backhauls and MikroTik 60 GHz links appear with the customers behind them.
One install script on a small Linux mini-PC in your NOC. Your data never leaves your network, and you reach it from outside over your own VPN.
$ sudo ./deploy/install.sh ==> Installing to /opt/netmap ==> netmap is running http://10.0.0.5:8080
Viewers watch the map, operators run the tools, admins change settings. The whole interface works in Arabic and English.

07The app
The map, the radio you picked, and its path back to the core, on one screen. This is the real layout, running on demo data.
09Questions
No. It runs on a mini-PC inside your network and keeps the map, the history and your customer names there.
Ubiquiti airMAX M and AC radios (LiteAP, LiteBeam, PowerBeam, NanoStation, Rocket and others), Mimosa C5x and C5c, MikroTik RouterOS for PPPoE, and MikroTik 60 GHz links.
Mapping and monitoring only read. A setting changes only when an admin or operator applies it on purpose, after seeing a preview. The router account can stay read-only.
About 15 minutes on a fresh mini-PC: run one install script, sign in, then add your gateway radios and PPPoE router in Settings. The first map appears after the first scan.
